Chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients

8 oz of chopped up dark chocolate

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons sugar

Pinch of salt

1/2 cup of whipped cream

Recipe

Melt the Chocolate:

First, In a bowl,melt your chopped chocolate by using a microwave.

Microwave Method: Heat in 30-second intervals while stirring between each one until completely melted and then let it slightly cool.

Whip the Cream:

In a separate bowl, whip your heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks slowly form. You can use an electric mixer or whisk by hand and set it aside for now.

Combine the Ingredients:

Fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate until fully combined and then pour into a serving dish or individual cups.

Chill:

Chill the mousse in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until set and then top with whipped cream and enjoy!
